Is this just dehydrated food?

No. Dehydration uses heat, which breaks down flavour and many vitamins. Freeze-drying removes water at very low temperatures by sublimation — flavour, texture, and most nutrients survive. Rehydrated, the meal tastes like it was just cooked. Read more on the How it works page.

How long does it last?

3 months from the date of manufacture, stored in a cool, dry place. Date is printed on each pouch.

Do I need a stove or microwave?

No. Boiling water from a kettle is enough for most meals. Peanut Chutney works with room-temperature water.

Can I cancel or change my order?

If your order hasn't shipped yet, email hello@kuraco.food with your order number. We will do our best to cancel or amend it before dispatch, though we can't always guarantee it depending on timing. Once shipped, see Returns below.

Returns and refunds

Food products are non-returnable for safety reasons. If your order arrives damaged, contains the wrong item, or is missing items, contact us within 48 hours with photos and we'll replace or refund.
